The irish capital
January 2, 2006
Dublin is a quite nice place! It's pretty big, but fortunately doesn't seem to be so. It looks like a good place to live.
This is our second stay in the town. We came from Derrylin in the early morning, went to the airport, left the luggage and then went back to the city for a great day. We visited first the part around Conally Station, Abbey Street and O'Coennell Str. and then we went over the brigde to the southern part of the city: Temple Bar, Trinity College, Dame str., St. Stephans Green. At Temple Bar pubs we coudn't resist and took some Guinness. The atmosphere there is so nice, cool and you just want to be there. In the evening we made some shopping - more window shopping than a real buying things, cuz we had no place in our luggage, only small souvenirs and besides the money were spent on Guinnes ;).
We went back to the airport (i have to confess that we could use the same tickets, cuz they were not checked as we were riding tha same line in the morning - i don't know why it happans to me all the time ;). Ok then. That's all of Ireland. We went back to Poland - there were still snow everywhere arrrggggghhhhhhh....
