Day 1
1 March 2008:
As I told before I’ve been a few times in Tunisia.. the first time in Monastir, as you could read it in the other blog, and the other 4 times in Hammamet!
Finally, the big day arrived, after 4.5 months of waiting and waiting. Saturday 1 march 2008. We drove away to Schiphol Airport at 3 o’clock in the afternoon and we arrived at 16.30. After checking in, we went outside again, to get some fresh air.. we waited till we really have to go inside.
We walked slowly slowly and bought some stuff for in Tunisia.
After we went to the gate, and what did we see !! The flight was delayed for 1 hour! Damn, I didn’t like it.. but oke we couldnt do anything against it..
After 1.5 hour, finally, we were in the plane and our trip to Tunisia could start. When we were in the plane, behind us there were to men, the smelled so much, YAK! So marjolein was reading a magazine and she found the text: WHO IS SMELLING THERE SO MUCH!? We made a sign and she stand up and put this up.. I think they read it.. Oops!
I promised some friends to meet them directly when I arrived in Hammamet, so I was really happy to hear that we flew a bit harder and in total we just had 1 hour delay instead of 1.5!
It was great to meet two old friends again.. I was so happy to see them! We had a drink in a nice café and talked so much. When it was about 02.30 we went back to the hotel for sleeping.
