For Spring Break, my family and I went to South Padre Island. We had sooo much fun!

We started out journey at 11:00. We then had to drive for about 7 hours! My sweet dogs were not enjoying the ride. By the time we got to the campground, it was dark.

The next day we explored the campground. They had an AWSOME playground. We also made some new friends. We meet R.J., Larry, Deourius, and so on.  At night we took a walk on the beautiful beach. We pretty much just played all day.

Day 3 we went to visit Charles' (my brother) friend. In the morning, we got to go to the Sea Animal Touch Tank. We then went to our rig and grilled up some hamburgers. We played on the playground for a bit before returning to Charles' friend's condo.

We had a lot of fun running around the hotel, eating popcorn, and playing on the second floor.

On Day 4 we started of the day with a K.O.A. breakfast of biscuits, eggs, bacon, and cheese. We then went on to the playground and played with some friends.  We went to the beach and flew our kite. We meet Charles' friend and played at the beach and then in the condo. When we returned to the campground, we played on the playground and went to the ice cream social. There we won one of those big Easter baskets! That was very exciting. Best of all, one of Lia's new friends had picked our ticket out at the raffle. We said we would pay her later. This was also very special since the Easter Bunny hadn't planned on coming, but could now! We also meet some very nice women who gave us lots of confetti eggs, 2 and a half to be exact.

The next day was Easter and I was woken up and asked to go outside. I had to help pack up since the rain was coming. So I lumbered outside with my P.J.'s and unbrushed hair and got to hold up the awning while we hand-cranked it in, since we FORGOT our awning handle. We then decided to go ahead and leave the campground that day so we could have a recovery day after the trip, and since we had already packed up. That was the end of our adventure to South Padre Island.
