  • Today we went to Pioneer Park. It was a historic park with lots of museums, a quilt gallery, a carousel, a train ride, and a playground. We went on an old boat in the middle of the park and they had dioramas of the communities in the surrounding areas. We then went to a historic museum that made it feel like we really were in the 1900’s. My dad taught us how to us an old telephone and I can not imagine having to do the dial every time I wanted to call someone!!
  • After some lunch and relaxation in the camper, we went to the quilt show that was beautiful. I loved all the quilts. We then went on the train and played on the playground. The train was very slow but it was neat to circle the whole park twice.
  • We headed back to the campground where we had worked on our homework and had dinner around 10:00 p.m. Our friend from the caravan came over. He was really funny and we had fun talking to him.
