Canyonlands

Canyonlands! Today we went and explored Canyonlands. We went on a mile hike to a giant hole in the ground with spikes stiking out of it . Scientest think it was caused by salt beds that spurted out and solidifed.  I think it was a meter that hit and it caused the crater, but since it had holes in it, there were a few pikes standing. Mom and Lia think Alians landed their space ship there.

After a few more hikes, we were off and headed toward Colorado. We were all suprised that as soon as we crossed the Colorado border, everything didn't turn green and lush with trees everywhere. Oh well, I guess nature doesn't care about state borders!

That night, we stayed in Colorado State Park. It was beautiful. We found a spot right on the Colorado River with big trees hangeging over the camper. At night, we found the laundry and did our laundry, in a washing matchine! It was so much easier that handwashing them. All we had to do was stick them in and turn the machine on! I forgot how easy a washing machine was!
