It was an interesting day. We started off by visiting the historic house in Capital Reef National Park and buying a few things in the gift shop. We then went to the nature center and got to pick mulberries from a mulberry tree. They were good. Inside the nature center, a woman gave Charlie and Lia oyster fossils that were more than 100 million years old! That is really old!
Before we left the National Park, we saw some pictographs. They were really big close up and I thought they were amazing. You can see the pictures of that if you want.
We continued driving on till we reached Arches National Park. After seeing the Visitor's Center, we went on a few hikes. By the end of them we were very hot, even though we didn't walk that much. It was just very hot outside! We were able to see the Delicate Arch, the Landscape Arch, and the North and South Arch. We also saw the Balancing Rock, the three gossips(a rock formation) and many, many more arches. The park had over 2000 arches!
