First Layover is Houston

Houston Travel Blog › entry 2 of 18 › view trip summary

During our eight days we visited Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, and South Dakota. We saw Yellowstone National Park, Devil's Tower, Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Custer State Park, The Badlands. We saw Elk, Wolves, Moose, Coyotes, Bigh Horn Sheep, Prong Horn Sheep, Golden Eagles, Bald Eagles, Mule Deer, Bison, Wild Turkey, Geese, Chipmunks and Trumpeter Swans. A vacation never forget and I'll have to return in the summer when everything is green.

First Layover is Houston

This is one screwed up airport. We flew into Houston on Continental and switched to United. One is in concourse A and the other is in concourse E. We had 40 minutes to catch our connecting flight. We had a good 3/4 mile walk, then wait to get on a bus that took us to concourse A. Then we had to go thru security again and run in our socks to catch the flight before it left, We made it with minutes to spare.  There was another group of six that did not make it, who knows what they had to go thru. It was a total CLUSTER F^*k!!!!  I'll never go thru that arport again. Watch out for the service carts carring people all around the airport, they will run your ass over.
