Bozeman to Tampa
What a week it has been. This country out here is fantastic!!! As my dad would say"it's God's country". We have been through four ststes, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, and South Dakota. We drove 2596 miles in 8 days and have seen some superb country. We visited, Bozeman, Big Sky, West Yellowstone, Gardiner, Rapid City, and Wall.
Some of the folks we have talked too had come out here to work in Yellowstone National park and ended up staying 15 years or more. We hit the best year for snow. They have gotten more snow this year since the winter of 1996-1997.
We got to see Bison, White Pelicans, Golden Eagles, Bald Eagles, Prong Horn Sheep, White Tail Deer, Big Horn Sheep, Wolves, Coyotes, Chipmunks, Moose, Bear, Prairie Dogs, Ravens, Trumpter Swans, Elk, and Osprey. The animals here are so majestic and beautiful. This will be with me for a long time.
We are sitting at the Bozeman Airport eating some lunch before our flight departs........pondering our great journey!!
