It does get better - but not until after we leave Nha Trang!

Nha Trang was probably one of the least endearing places we have been to on our whole RTW trip to date, fortunately we can laugh about it from Hoi An (more of which on the next entry!).
Basically, it was pretty much the epoitomy of "when communism designs buildings" ! There were a couple fo things that we were looking for (a giant stone buddah and something else) but we couldn't find any of it! Irt was full of touts ("you wanna motorbike") andhad absolutely no charm. Fortunately, we only stopped here to avoid having to take a 5 hour bus trip from Dalat then having top take an overnight bus to Hoi An, so we didn't have our hopes pinned here much.
The overnight trip was as uncomfortable and bizzare as it was amusing. WE had a brand spanking new bus that was very clean and well air conditioned, unfortunately it hadthe WEIRDEST seating configuration that we have experienced on our trip so far - bunkbeds, although we sleptin some sort of bizarre sarcophagus at the back - it was like sleeping in the luggage hold as it gave us only 3 feet of headroom from the "bed" and we had top crawl in! Oh how we longed for the comfort of the buses in South America!
Still, the most important thing is that we arrived in Hoi An safely.
