We drove from Texas to Baton Rouge for a family wedding. After spending a few days in Baton Rouge we went down to New Orleans. Louisiana is an awesome state with culture, friendly people, and GOOD food. I can't wait to go back.

Oak Alley Plantation

We drove from Baton Rouge to Oak Alley Plantation. They were having some kind of festival, with live music, venues, and lots of GOOD food. I tried alligator for the first time (it tastes like chicken) and I had crawfish etouffee, which was really good. We had a tour of the plantation and the main house, which has beautiful romantic trees all around.
