The ride is over!
April 23, 2008
The very long day I had is finally over. I had to wake up who knows how early after having a sleep for few hours. Getting my portfolio ready was obviously harder than I thought.
But now I have a portfolio consisting more than 50 pages about me: my cv, my events, my articles and so on. And the unbelievable part is that there were many things left out...
This far the trip to Jyväskylä has been very smooth. The ferry ride to Helsinki from Tallinn was quick and easy, I had a cup of coffee, read some newspapers and still worked with the materials for tomorrow's examination. I had some free time in Helsinki that I spent on walking around and enjoying the city. It's really a lovely place!
Around lunch time I went to train station and got on Tampere train. I continued reading my things and from time to time looked outside to see the nature... A little time after changing the train in Tampere I finished with materials. While looking out of the window I realized that I've really come to north :D I mean, some lakes were still covered with ice and here and there were a little of snow.
I had found a lovely host for my stay thanks to Hospitality club. Hanna welcomed me in train station and we took a walk to her place. It's really great that Hanna speaks Estonian fluently! Not that my English would suck :D but it's always easier to talk in your native language ;)
So now it's evening time and we are probably going out to see a little of the town :) and yeah, I'm a little bit nervous about tomorrow.
