I just got back from JUAS building. And yes! I was on the list for tomorrow! GREAT! Now we'll go out again for a walk and maybe a coffee too. It's pretty certain we won't drink beer tonight :D

first exam down, in good case two to go

It's around 3 pm right now and I'm done for today. But before today's events I yet haven't told you about yesterday.
So my host Hanna and I went to town to see what's going on. After a little walking we grabbed a beer at one bar which name I unfortunately can't remember but it reminded me a lot of bar/club/lounge/restaurant Maailm in Tartu. Pretty soon we were joined by some of Hanna's friends from Spain and Ukraine and of course Finland. And one beer became two and so on :D I stopped with three beers. But in general we had a lot of fun. It was a great time. Soon I heard that some friends of one girl who joined us the last (sorry, can't really remember her name) are going to the same exams as I am... so we tried to find out a little more of these guys (so what we got to know is that they were musicians) and pretty soon also left back to Hanna's place for sleep. I still had to wake up early in the morning.
It was around 7.40 when I left Hanna's place to find Jyväskylä University of Applied Science building. And that was much easier than I thought. After registering and hearing some introductions for the day I left the building to take a walk in town because my first day interview was about to take place at 13.50 but it was 9.10 at that time. So I visited some shops and hoped to do some photos but didn't really find something interesting for myself to photograph. But I did find a new book for myself. I really shouldn't visit book stores but I just can't help it. I found for myself a book about Metallica in Suomalainen Kirjakauppa shop. Hell yeah. Another great music book to my library :)
I went back to JUAS and saw lots of nervous people... no, I didn't want to stay there. I went back outside and took a walk near the lake and found one lovely bench over there to sit on and read a book and be calm.
And then it was my turn to go to the examination room. There were two guys welcoming me. I was really glad I had made two copies of my portfolio! We had a talk for about 10 minutes and it went well. Before I left the room they told me to come back in evening just to check if I'm in list of people who will be asked to come back tomorrow for another interview and essay writing. But according to these guys who examined me I'll be pretty certainly in the list. Wijeah! So now I have few hours to wait.
