European Pool Side, Steakhouse and a Happy little Tryst

Las Vegas Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

The Jens and I head to Las Vegas for a quick weekend getaway. We meet up with our San Fran friends, who have hooked us up with a room at The Wynn. We enjoyed Friday night out at Moon (the Palms) and Saturday night out at Tryst (The Wynn). We ate fabulous food, enjoyed incredible shopping, and danced like we have never danced before. We love LAS VEGAS.

European Pool Side, Steakhouse and a Happy little Tryst

i wake up early, 10 am? What, we didn't get in until... forget it, I have no idea what time we got in. All I know is that I have fallen asleep in my make up, and need to wash my face and take a shower badly. Hopefully, I will be able to nap at the pool. I quietly tip toe through the room and head to the bathroom to enjoy the fabulous shower and bathing experience of the Wynn. It has by far the coolest shower head. I figure I have had about three hours sleep but can power through. LB Jen gets up shortly after and we decide to wake up Jen Jen and head down to the pool to grab some sunshine and some grub.
Jen and i have had the opportunity to cabanna it up at the Wynn before, so we are excited to hit up the European pool, where they have a bar and a dj playing.
Nothing like a little pool time mixed in with some music, dancing, water....Unfortunately, it was colder than shit. We sit down, order some food at the grill and proceed to bundle up as the wind picked up. When the sky was clear, the sun was out, we were good but as soon as one itty bitty little cloud covered the sun, forget about it. It felt like the temperature dropped 2o degrees.
Needless to say, we didn't stay there very long before we opted out and decided to go shopping. We all ended up finding some great new clothes, outfits, shoes, etc.
That night we met up with Shaun, Anna, Elena, Greg for dinner at the SK steakhouse, inside the Wynn, to be followed up by another dance fest at Tryst. After another fabulous meal, as you can tell we like to eat, we roll out to Tryst, where we have a nice booth outside on the patio, by the waterfall. It is a great location and keeps us entertained throughout the night.
