Back on the Beach!

It's about 500km between Hoi An and Nha Trang but it's an overnight bus trip - 12hrs!!!!!! At least it meant we didn't have to pay for the night's accommodation as well as the bus trip, but we must have been going pretty slowly! I slept fairly well, so it wasn't too bad. We booked through Sinh Cafe and their buses have these seats which are a sort of cross between a bed and a seat, the back can recline but the bit for your legs doesn't go down.... i suspect that description is as clear as mud! Anyway, wasn't too bad, although I think I got way more sleep than Dave.
We spent two nights in Nha Trang. We spent the first day on the beach and wandering around town. We paid about 1.50AUS at The Sailing Club (a restaurant on the beach) for a deck chair and big umbrella on the beach and snoozed in the shade and of course went in for a dip! The water was way warmer than the beach in Hoi An, although i'm not sure that the beach itself was much nicer (not that Hoi An's was bad - just that they were similar).
On our second day in Nha Trang we went diving with Rainbow Divers. We did two dives and were back by lunch time. Unfortunately the diving didn't really compare to
We had some really good food while we were in Nha Trang - great Indian for dinner the first night and then went to 'Louisiane' the second night. If only we had been there earlier!!!!!! It's a really nice restaurant, and like the Sailing Club they have deck chairs out on the beach BUT they also have a swimming pool... I bet everyone's thinking 'why do you need a pool when you've got the beach??' but you didn't see this pool - you could pretend you were in a posh resort!! Unfortunately, we'd already booked our bus out the next morning so couldn't stay to check if the pool lived up to expectations.
Anyway, Nha Trang was pretty good... next stop Mui Ne
