This blog is documenting everything that I did on my round the world trip last July 2007 with my friend Bree. It was my very first overseas trip and it consisted of a stay in Signapore, before heading to London to begin an 18 day Contiki European Impressions tour, we then spent time with family in Wales before heading back to London. We then flew to New York for another quick contiki tour, and finished up in Hawaii for a relaxing finish. We quite literally did a full circle of the globe.

Contiki Day 15 - Barcelona to Bordeaux, France

Another long drive today, and really nothing else to report. We arrived in Bordeaux early evening and it seemed like a ghost town. It was a Sunday and nothing seemed to be open. We had to organise our own dinner tonight and JB walked us to the main square and pointed in the right direction. There didn't seem to be alot around so we went into the MacDonalds. There were alot of creepy people around, young teens who looked stoned. More people from the tour group joined us in Maccas and all the girls decided to walk back together, so we had safetly in numbers.

Basically Bordeaux is a really boring town, and pretty much a stop over to Paris. Bree and I went to bed early and watch some french TV. I think the Mask with Jim Carrey was on so that was alright. Tomorrow was going to be another driving day as we were approaching the end of the trip.
