Affordable near tourist center
I payed $90 / night to be near Miraflores / tourist district. I'm sure it wasn't the cheapest but it was reliable and I had no issues with safety or security. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom was a little sub standard and the shower was barely more than a trickle yet usable. I will be going back to Lima but I will be looking for a different place to see how they compare. I also don't understand why they charged me another $20 a night to have a friend stay with me, but whatever!
