Kevin, Eliot, and Winston getting ready to sand
Saturday we got to sleep in til 6:45 which was supercool, and got to leave the yard at 4! Right before we left some of the girl workers came up to me and handed me an ice cream looking package. I was very grateful, as it was hot and had been a long day, but I was a little bit wary because Boomer said that someone in the yard gave him a lollypop that looked like chocolate but turned out to be black beans. As soon as I opened it up I realized that he meant ice cream lollypop, because mine was brown and had brown looking chocolate chunks in it. But all the girls were watching me and I didn't want to be rude, so I took a big bite off the top and managed to swallow it. It was so gross! I don't like black beans anyway, but still, I'm pretty sure they should never be frozen on a stick.
Jason, Kevin, Eliot, and Winston being "80's construction workers," yeahhhh....
It's like eating a frozen can of black beans pretty much, the juice is frozen around big chunks of actual bean. After eating a quarter of it I figured I had satisfied my obligations, so I gave it to the guys that were sanding the side of the boat and Winston finished it. I think I accidentally told the supervisor that it was "delicious" though, so I'm afraid the girls are going to take that as a sign that I want it frequently. Not good! The highlight of my day was seeing the puppy at the store on our street. I went to the back of the store to see it, and it crawled out from under the table where it was lying to sniff my hand and lick me! It was sooooooo cute. After about 30 seconds it was bored though so it went back under the table and curled up into the tiniest ball ever.

It was SO cute! We had dinner at a restaurant called "Ana Carden" (maybe supposed to be garden? as it was pretty much in a big garden, but who knows). Then we went to the pub and played some pool and the evening festivities continued quite late into the morning. I got up at 9 and went to Travis's for brunch with some of the others trickling in at various points. It was the most gorgeous little restaurant and I had delicious poached eggs on toast and apple tea. Then we swam in the pool there for a little and went to the Emporium for lunch. I shopped a little and then went to the book store and now I'm trying to figure out what to do this evening. It's raining right now, which isn't bad, but doesn't promote motivation for outdoor activities and I don't feel like sitting inside. So we'll see.... I'm excited to have Japanese food for dinner again though. I think we're going to the private room place from last week- mmmm!!
