Florence City Hop on Hop off Tour including Fiesole Tour
March 16, 2008
started at around 10 in the morning, on the first floor (open) of a tour bus and headed for Fiesole. the most beautiful site scenes, i have ever seen in my life. the weather was kinda chilly but too sexy and i wish my girl was there with me :)
Fiesole is located around 9-10 kilometres out of the florence city and is on a hill with very beautiful site scenes as the bus moves forward to Fiesole. On the way to Fiesole, saw Santa maria Novella train station, the Duomo, and lots of beautiful places in florence. And at that moment, i really appreciated my decision to stay in florence for 2 nites as its a very beautiful city in all. lots of churches, shops, restaurants, cafes, museums, bridges, gold shops etc. etc. etc.
came back around 12 in the afternoon, had lunch and then headed for the Line A of the tour and visited Michael Angelo Square, giving a panoramic view of florence city including the Duomo and the Church. again rided the tour bus after 30 minutes and keep on watching the scenic beauty of florence city.
(i am unable to transfer the pics from my digi cam to my laptop, so pls bear with me untill i reach back home and upload the photos)
tomorrow morning leaving from florence to venice.

First Day in Florence (Firenzia), Italy
March 16, 2008
Bonjourno (Good Morning) from Firenzia, Italy
Reached Firenzia around 11.15 in the morning and located my hotel (Hotel Globus) with the help of a map which i downloaded from their website. Thanks to them for the map :)
took rest for some time, then left for a group tour to Leaning Tower of Pisa. The tour escort (Valentina) was a hot chick and a very nice guide. She told everything on the way upto Pisa and then handed over the command to a local guide for the Cathedral, Baptistry and Leaning Tower of Pisa.

View of Florence city from Micha...
Very good hotel for backpackers and very cheap prices
really a nice place, just on a walkable distance from Santa Maria Novella Train station, Florence. very friendly staff and clean, temperature controlled rooms.
the hotel is surrounded by the local market selling each kinda stuff. number of restaurants and bars are located nearby the hotel.
the only thing which i missed was some cool air in the room after strolling for 2 hours in the market. :( as the staff said that in this season only heating is provided and not air conditioning. :(
