We flew off for Tokyo on 11 Jan 2006 and returned to Singapore on 15 Jan 2006.

Upon arrival at Narita International Airport on 12 Jan 2006 morning, we made our way to Owakudani Boiling Valley to enjoy the scenic views and feel the rolling steams from the valley. Along the way, we travelled via the famous Rainbow Bridge and saw the Tokyo Tower. After our lunch, we visited Hakone National Park - Peace Park and were delighted to see Mount Fuji over there. Mount Fuji was simply faNext, we proceeded to the base of Mount Fuji where we enjoyed its magnificent view and admired its beautiful snow-capped peak. After that, we made a stop at Bell Shopping Centre at Mount Fuji area to do some grocery shopping before checking into New Star Hotel. After having a traditional Japanese steamboat dinner at our hotel, we relaxed oursleves in the hot spring bath before we turned in for the night.

On 13 Jan 2006, we began our journey to Yokohama after our breakfast. We visited the largest Chinatown in Japan, and passed by the 2002 World Cup Stadium and the Landmark Tower. Next, we hitched a ride on the Shinkansen (Bullet Train) and arrived in Tokyo. We started off with a city tour of Tokyo. First, we shopped for souvenirs & Japanese famous snacks at Nakamise Street, and visited the most popular Asakusa Kannon Temple that has a history of more than 1,300 years. Next, we proceeded to Odaiba Park, where we took photographs of the famous Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo Tower and the Statue of Liberty. We did some quick shopping at Aqua City in Odaiba too. After our dinner, we visited Ueno and shopped for some accessories and local snacks at the flea market. Thereafter, we headed for Sunshine City and rested for the night at Sunshine City Prince Hotel.

On 14 Jan 2006, we were transferred Tokyo Disneyland where we had great fun and enjoyed the unlimited rides. After our dinner at a Thai restaurant, we headed for our hotel, Narita Excel Hotel Tokyu to put down our luggage before we visited Shirokiya where we had some drinks and snacks.

15 Jan 2006 was our last day in Japan. After our breakfast, we visited Narita Aeon Shopping Center and did a few hours of shopping. We had our lunch there before returning to our hotel to pick up our luggage. We then headed for Narita International Airport to catch our flight back to Singapore.
