The weather in NYC today was sooooo beautiful. Darren said it was to reward us for braving the storm yesterday. I think I agree!
Sweeney Todd was AMAZING! I'm so glad I got to see it before it closed, and seeing the final performance was nothing short of incredible. There was not a weak link in this cast of 10 (for those who saw ST at TCT, can you believe you can do this show well with only TEN PEOPLE?!) I enjoyed the hell out of every last minute. Perhaps more on that later, because I have more to say, but I'm tired. Kellie/Jordan, I almost bought the window card and sent it home, but I didn't. Kinda wish I would have.
D and I had dinner with Michelle, Ngoc and Ngoc's friend from home, Miguel, at Saigon Grill. Another awesome place, and the spring rolls are fantastic. Its at 90th & Amsterdam, for those interested!
We did lots and lots of walking today, because I was a little infatuated with the weather. So after Sweeney, we walked up to AOL/Time Warner, teased my new purse craving by shopping through Coach and Cole Haan, took a short snack break in Whole Foods, then walked up through Lincoln Center and the Upper West Side to get to Saigon Grill. So from 49th & Broadway to 90 & Amsterdam. It was awesome! I love New York :)
