a beautiful street in Savannah

Here we are in Savannah! Got here about an hour ago, and I'm sitting in my hotel room checking e-mail, writing this blog, and watching General Hospital. I NEED to jump in the shower and head over to the theatre, as we are only here one night, but I also need a moment to decompress after the bus ride.

Savannah is old and seems pretty beautiful. I hope I get a better feel for that when I take the short little walk to the venue. Tomorrow morning, we hop on the bus again and head to Greenville, SC for the weekend. Then Monday it's back to Florida to play Tallahasse, and next weekend we are in Louisville, Kentucky. Gone are the long weeks in Melbourne :)

Speaking of, my room was a disaster by the time our 10 days were over, so last night's packing was long and not the greatest fun.

It was just so nice to be able to spread out in that wonderful room, by that wonderful beach, in that amazing town. God bless the people of Melbourne -- they were so incredible to us!!

Things have been a little rocky the past couple of days. Tempers flared and there have been something things to work through. I'm also having some rough times with my allergies,  and I've been feeling crappy. I have also felt a little underwhelmed about the distribution of authority and job related responsiblities, so that is putting me on edge. I've had a couple of good conversations with the girl who last had my job, and she's given me some great insight, so that's been helpful. And I've met some fun new people who make me laugh, and that's always a good time! :)

Sometimes the talent around me is astounding. I love to watch people in their element!

When my allergies started getting bad I got the Wal-Mart brand of Claritin and I didn't get the full blown allergies in the end! There's an even cheaper version right next to the Equate brand that is only like $2.50 a box and the pharmacist said the only difference was it was lots cheaper!

Love reading your travel blog. My friends went to Savannah recently and loved it! I've flown into Greenville but that was my only time there :).
