The Tigers game.
March 21, 2008
After 4 hours of sleep we went to the Tigers game at Joker Marchant Stadium. They were playing the Toronto Blue Jays and it was very hot. I came from Chicago where it was 38 degrees when we left and now it's 86 degrees! The people here are very nice and the stadium fit about 10,000 people. The Tigers put up two runs quickly but then ended up losing 5-3. Boo. After the game my dad and I snuck around and watched coach Jim Leyland and his fellow coaches yell at his younger catchers and made them practices their fundamentals. Then we slowly mosied into "Tigers personnel only" area and looked at the players gear and got close to the practice. It was only the minor leageurs though. As we were walking back we noticed that the field gate was open and no one was around. So, we walked on to the field and then into the bullpen!! Then someone yelled at us and we ran away and drove off. We ate dinner at this place called Abuelo's and had delicious fajitas and delicious $2 margaritas. Eat there.
