Olive being a psycho
Today was my last day in Rundu
. I cant believe my trip is coming to an end already! Today, we went into town and went to the open market and the woodcarvers' coop for some last minute souveneirs. Then we had breakfast at the coffee shop, and went to the internet cafe. It was a pretty laid back day. I started packing, and so did McKenzie, because once I'm gone, she will have to move into town to stay the remainder of her time with some other volunteers. She doesn't really want to, but the program directors aren't comfortable with her staying in the village alone. Also, she has to help some of the new volunteers get acclamated to what has to be done, as far as the project goes, after she leaves. Since I have been a bit obsessed with the sunsets here, McKenzie thought it would be nice to go to Kavango River Lodge. There is an amazing view of the river and the horizon. So we went there for dinner with all the other volunteers to watch the sun set. It was a lot of fun, and the perfect ending to a perfect trip. We were there for quite awhile, and then went home to bed early since I had to pack and get ready to leave the next morning for Windhoek.
