~Colchester Zoo~
~Going to Colchester Zoo was one of many trips i tagged along as a Voluteer on my Sons School Trip In Nursery :)) I Soon Found myself puttin my name on the lists of Parents Volnteering to go on School Trips :-P,I suppose realising i get to go to most places i wouldn't up and go to on impulse,it made for perfect opportunity that presents itself !! Most of all,much as the opportunities presented themselves,i didnt want to miss out on my son's expression as he experiences these adventures,soo i guess its no surprise to me that these trips are as exciting for me as it is for the Kids :))~
~In retrospect,i cannot specifically say its my love for travel or adventure that made me sign up my name on every school trip!! I kept telling myself am not tagging along as an over~protective Parent,lol,but i feel a whole lot better if am there,soo many freak accidents on school trips!! That thought is never far off my mind when i sign up for voluteering!! As an Only child i suppose its only natural that maternal instinct kick in first :))~ I must admit though i have enjoyed every trip and i get to share those special memories with my son!! whenever he recalls a moment of these trips,i know what he's talking about,i dont have to nod my head and agree/pretend to know what he's talking about,thats the greatest satisfaction i get from tagging along :))~
~I was particularly excited about the Colchester trip because my son who was three years old at the time,couldnt stop talking about it,naturally i couldnt wait for the day to arrive soon enough,when it did,Two Coaches was waiting outside the school,a quick assembly was called,each Voluteer parent/Guardian was given a list,with the names of four kids to look after,however your child isnt included in that four :((
~The ride to colchester was such fun,Dont you just miss been a kid?? :-P its such fun to be a kid,lol,they sang their hearts out with Nursery rhymes,we joined in :D it was great fun,it was such an exciting start to the trip!! the kids were well behaved,there was no crying,to my pleasant surprise,lol in all, we made it to the zoo in estimated time,by noow ofcourse the kids have been sitting still for almost an hour,they were ready to GO but not before been hand tagged and a trip to the toilet!!
~I Got my four kids for the entire trip and with a zoo guide,we were split into two groups.
