Bran.....Draculas Castle ???? Here?
The second stop of our trip was in Brasov but our main destination was Bran , the Draculas castle. So after 2 hilarious hours with the bus we arrived to Bran.
Bran is a small village between the Carpathians whrere there is not much to see except the castle.
We were veeeeeery disappointed to know that our whole trip based on a lie of shorts .This castle wasn't the original Dracula castle but a resident which used for a while.The real one is almost not exist,its in ruins in another location and with 1456 stairs ( ARE YOU NUTS !!!!!!!). Except that, our diasappointment grow bigger when we got in.The castle its smaller than it looks from outside and almost empty.Only a few furnitures,no paintings, nothing impressive.The place is full with narrow passages,small strairs, it has even a hidden stair that leads directly to the upper floor from where you can see the lovely yard with the small lake and the pretty view of Bran.
So not only the vimpire Dracula is a myth but also his castle !!!! We didn't even saw the famous Vlad Dracula painting,only pictures of his wife. Its a pitty the most popular attraction of the country being like that :(
One thing that we learned for sure is that Dracula....was realy short.All the doors were about 1.75m height LOL.Far from all these we did enjoy the sight and had a good time ,its the company that matters right?Thank you Strati and Ariana.
