After a wonderful winter of skiing in Big Sky, MT, we are headed to CA in our travel trailer to visit Mary, Dave and the grand girls. We'll hike in the 4 Corners area on the way back. We'll return to Big Sky in mid-April to pack up for a trip east for the summer. We'll leave Big Sky again on May 1st, visit friends on the way to Boston, MA where we'll fly to Germany on May 18th. We'll return on June 25th and spend the summer in New Hampshire and New England.

A Splendid Beach, Jalama Beach County Park

Tucked away at the end of a 14 mile long road is Jalama Beach County Park. A wonderful drive over emerald green hills, through oak groves, and then over sand dunes brings you to the Pacific Ocean. There are miles of beach in both directions and very few people - by California standards. We spent a great day with Mary and the girls. We watched kite-boarding. Large kites drag folks on small surfboards over the water. It looks like great fun.
