Kharkiv Passenger Pivdennyi Railway Station
From the platforms of Pivdennyi Railway Station through southern and northern tunnels the arriving passengers get to the underground floor of the station, from where they can come out to Railway Station Square or enter the underground (by the way, the cheapest and the most convenient way to get downtown). From the station you can travel by tram, taxi, van or bus.

Railway tickets can be bought at the Pivdennyi Railway Station ticket offices, at the Service Centre, and at the advance sale ticket offices. You should know that a ticket will be sold to you only after you have produced your passport or other identification. No documents are not necessary to buy tickets at the commuter ticket offices.

On the first floor of the station there is a 24-hour access Service Centre, where besides buying tickets, you can book a room at the Express Hotel or call a taxi, hire a porter, as well as get some information, make a Xerox copy or use a computer. On the second floor there is a comfortable waiting room and Pivdenne cafe. On the additional floor there is a conference room and Persha Stolytsia cafe The main hall of the station is equipped with two electronic informers with sensor monitors to render information services to the passengers. A colour display to demonstrate media files and commercials is located in the centre of the hall. The screen is visible from almost any point of the room.

You can take a comfortable express train from Kharkiv to Kyiv and Symferopol. A trip to Kyiv takes about 5 hours, and to Symferopol — 7 hours.
