Kharkiv is a big motor transport junction. Highways link it with Moscow, Kyiv, many cities of Ukraine, Russia and other foreign countries, and by local roads — with all district centres and dozens of towns and settlements of the region.
Intercity and regional passenger transportations are carried out by Central Bus Station # 1 (direction of Poltava, Krasnohrad, Izum) and Bus Station # 2 (direction of Sumy).
Comfortable Autolux bus coaches provide passenger
service on the route Kharkiv — Poltava — Boryspil International
Airport — Kyiv. They depart from the Central Bus Station. One of the
company offices is situated here too.
On Saturdays you can leave by van for Belhorod, Chervona Yaruha,
Other bus stations provide only commuter and regional transportations.
