Kharkiv International Airport is situated 12 km south-east from the downtown. The cheapest and the fastest way of getting from the airport to the city centre — is a van or a bus; a trip to Prospect Gagarina underground station takes 15–20 minutes. You can also take a taxi, but you should remember that the airport is one of the most expensive places to take one.

A number of airlines carry out regular flights from Kharkiv International Airport to Kyiv (Boryspil’, Zhuliany), Moscow, Istanbul, Yerevan, Tbilisi, Vienna, Bratislava, as well as to Egypt.
