Everything's coming up daffodils...for me and for you.....

I am marking this day in hisroty...as the worst snow day in victoira for this time of year..I am going to keep this short and sweet because it is such a freak of nature...there will be no snow photo's on here...I really have enough on my other blogs.  But it started snowing yesterday...still is snowing as of right now hopefully it will stop soon...all flowers are burined and in shock....just like me. :):):)

These photos are ones that were taken last weekend and a few this week in sidney, downtown, and metchosin.  I love spring and the promise of re-birth and all things new.  The sun (usually), starts coming out for longer, warms up the earth and kisses all living things into showing off their great colors...vivid greeen of the grass, plants ands forest, pinks, yellows, blues, reds, sunrrises. ..sunsets...baby lambs running in the fields, calves soon to follow.  The birds are looking for nesting materail and singing their songs to their mates...I love watching the Quail when they have their babies...they look like little convoys following each other all in a row...the frogs are out singing their nightly tunes..and the breezes are starting to warm.  Every year I am amazed...at how mother nature starts her song.

So I hope you enjoy the show...will put up more pictures once the snow is gone (eeekkke)...and spring is in the air again.

UPDATE:: A few hours later.....

Nothing better than someone to tell you to go build a snowman...so thankyou Shaun!  I was lucky enough to enlist his help..with a few other bodies...and two dogs...So I was not going to put up snow photos...but really could not resist the challenge and the fun!!!!
