Great Ocean Road Backpackers

Our first stop when we drove the Great Ocean Road was in Lorne. We had decided to try this hostel, I'm not sure anymore if we booked in advance, but I think we did. The staff was friendly and we had two beds in a large room. When we entered the room we saw there where beds where you entered and also up the stairs. We decided to take two beds upstairs since the room was just over the kitchen. The kitchen was clean and there was enough room to cook, the kitchen was also used as a meeting room. It was a shame that the weather wasn't very good because there where nice places outside to sit.
