Standing outside a Shinto temple in Japan.

To summarize everything that happened in the last two days, the tour started off with a bang. Got to meet my tour guide, and I'm just thrilled to be in Tokyo right now. Yesterday, I spent a majority of the morning wandering around Roppongi Hills. We revisited the Shibuya and Harajuku area once more since we won't be going back there for a while.

The JR trains were always full, so we took Express most of the way back. Today marks the first day of our tour, and I got to see a lot of shrines and temples, like the Tokugawa and Meiji shrine, followed by the Imperial Gates of the Emperor. Looking back, it was pretty exhausting since it felt like the day never seemed to end. We were constantly on the move.

Each day, our tours start at 9 AM and end around 8 PM. Luckily, I got to see the whole entire city of Tokyo by going up the tallest building in the city with the mirror bubble in it called Tokyo Metropolitan Towers. I don't know if I'm still jetlagged or what not, but I've been feeling more exhausted lately. Gotta catch up on some zzzs and wake up early tomorrow, because we take off around 7 AM to get to Kyoto.
