Snorkeling in Lovina

Today was a reasonably good day/ We snorkeled in the morning, a guy from the hotel took us to a reef about 1km off shore in his little boat type thing (more like a canoe). The water was very calm and warm. There were thousands of tropical fish swimming all around us. They were encouraged by our captain throwing bread into the water. Hrmmm. It was quite a pleasant experience, until I started to feel nauseous and threw up in the water! Apparently eating my banana pancake for breakfast was a waste of time. It wasn’t too bad, no one saw me!
After snorkeling I slept for about 3 hours. I had a really bad headache and felt like rubbish. At 2pm a lady from the hotel gave us a massage in our room. It was not as good as the ones we had in Ubud but for $6 for one hour I wasn’t complaining!
We ate an early dinner at Barcelona Bar and Restaurant a street over from ours.
After dinner we walked back along the beach and were attacked by mosquitoes. I was bitten twice on my forehead! We also went for a sunset swim in the pool.
I’m back in our room now, very tired and drained from being sick I guess. Megan is out in the pool drinking bintang and talking to some European guys. I should be out there being social but I’m just not up to it at the moment.
We did go out last night. We sat at the hotel restaurant for ages drinking bintang and listning to the live band before heading off to Poco Evolution Bar. It wasn’t bad; it was pretty lively for Lovina. There was a decent cover band singing way too many Robbie Williams songs. I drank too much beer, it was fun.
