Today we hit Nice, France... and we were prepared to make our first stop of this European journey. Since I woke up around 1 AM or so, I decided to play ball on the upper deck with some kids from Spain. Afterwards, I tried to get back to sleep, but my allergies kept me awake. Throughout most of the day, they kept getting worse... and because of this dry European weather, I found it harder to breathe every second. Anyways, we took a small ship to the French Riviera docks and took the bus throughout most of the southern border of France. Saw a lot of interesting sights and met a lot of nice people. "Nice" people. haha.... and our tour group stopped by at this resturaunt in the city of Eze... where we enjoyed some fresh wine and bread, and also ate some good chicken and escargot. As soon as we were done, we went up to Monte Carlo in Monaco to check out the so-called "richer" side of France, and we got to see a lot of pictures and nice cars. Ferraris, BMWs, Porsches... etc. About 30 minutes later, we went to one of the Catholic churches where all the former monarchs of France were buried. Unfortunately, I was too tired and weary to move around any further, and I was about ready to pass out on the boat. Once we got back, which was about 7 PM, we got back to our rooms and I fell asleep. I'm currently writing this entry on the next day so that the memories still stay fresh in my mind. Our next destination is Livorno, Italy... so I'll keep posting until further notice.
