Andaman White Beach Resort

From August 8th - 13th, we stayed in the Andaman White Beach Resort in Amphur Thalang, Phuket. Believe me when I say that this is as close to paradise as you are ever likely to find anywhere. The hotel itself was only a 15 minute cab drive from Phuket international airport. What we found when we arrived was a cosy resort complex situated on a secluded stretch of pristine beachfront on Nai Thon Beach, overlooking the fabled Andaman sea. The resort was discretely positioned on a coconut plantation with its own pure white sand beach.
We stayed here for six nights in our own Beach front pool villa. These unique accomodations were a hop, a skip and a jump to the beach and sea. Our villa was tastefully decorated with a Thai motif.
Initially we had intended to spend all 14 days of our honeymoon in this resort, and we had booked in for 14 nights, but after six days we decided that to come all this way to Thailand from England and not see anything of Thailand other than the Andaman sea crashing onto a beach every day (as beautiful as it was) would be at best plain stupid and at worst ludicrous. So we negoitiated with the hotel to check out early.
After our stay in Andaman beach resort, we where fully refuelled and ready to see what else Thailand, or more specifically Phuket had to offer. In the next journal entry me and Tamara experience the sights and sounds of Patong beach for the first time.
