Life's a peach.

DAY THREE of the Beaches & Ruins Road Trip:
A fruit stand with a pile of huge peaches caught my eye as we drove through this small town and I did a high-speed swerve to the curb. It’s peach season and you don’t know what heaven is until you’ve tasted these peaches. They are not even in the same family as the hard, flavorless, mass-produced produce in the chains at home. These peaches are impossible to eat without making a complete mess -- peach juice down the chin, in the lap, on the floor, in the hair. It’s peach heaven. We made short work of 2 kilos.
