Confessions of an unapologetic bookworm.


When we checked in to our apartment here in Cavtat, I was drawn like a magnet to a table in the reception area stacked with a disparate collection of paperbacks. Books…aah. It’s been awhile since I’ve had a “free library” like this. I attacked it with alacrity, and have now finished three books in my four days here. Today I started the fourth book, and spent all day reading. All. Day. Reading. <<< Great.

In the evening, Steve and I wandered down to Cavtat town for dinner. The sun was setting, the boats were quietly bobbing in the harbor, and it was beautiful.

OK, back to my book now.

Ha! I'm going to have to write about this at some point - I'm currently lugging 10 books around which weigh me down like hell but act like a kind of boredom avoidance system. It's kind of an addiction - word smack perhaps...
