Inuvik Reservations

I've now made reservations at Happy Valley Campground in Inuvik, NWT, Canada!  It is within walking distance of the town.

The Great Northern Arts Festival is combined with the town of Inuvik's 50th Anniversary Celebration in 2008.

I'm so excited - Artic Circle, here we come!

Finally - Good Sam's Emergency Road Service

Even though I paid $30 extra on Progressive's Insurance for towing coverage, I was so impressed that Good Sam's ERS would cover us in
Canada and Mexico too that I finally signed up.

When I told about all these benefits:

Emergency Fuel Delivery
Flat Tire Service
Roadside Mechanical Repairs
Lost Key/ Lock Out Service
24/7 Emergency Dispatch
Unlimited Distance Towing

Ned said that they ought to just *follow me* down the Dempster Highway on the way to Inuvik! Haha!

I think we'll get our money's worth.

Skype (updated 3/24- Windows Vista problems)

Update:  Skype seems to cause BIG problems on computers that have Vista.  I know of 3 computers that had to be restored to a "pre-skype" status in order to function.  I think it does fine with Windows XP.

Now this is a really cool communication tool!  I have downloaded it to my laptop and am trying to figure it out now.
