Second day in Lanzarote.

One of the many nice things about a vacation in the Canary Islands is the one-hour time difference between the rest of Spain and, of course, with Poland.  We were able to get a really early start, no special effort required.  Getting up early makes for a very productive day - even had time for a swim before breakfast.  The hotel breakfast is acceptable, but nothing special to write about.  The coffee is pretty harsh and the orange juice seems to be Tang!  After breakfast we got in the car and headed off to explore more of Lanzarote.   There are many cyclers here in the hotel and we also saw a lot on the road yesterday - the good roads, relatively low volume of traffic and beautiful scenery must make for a fantastic bike trip.

Finally after wandering all over Lanzarote we made it back to the hotel.  The same groups of cyclers that we had passed on our way out, early in the morning were just arriving as we made it back to the hotel.  A cycling journey through Lanzarote is on my "one of these days" list.  Dinner at the hotel was fine, but after dinner we decided not to go out or anything - just have a drink in the hotel and then head for bed and an early start tomorrow.
