Travbeerbuddies Day 1 - beer and whale stories
Today I met trav/beer buddy Philip(profile: Deats) who popped up in Manila on the first weekend of March. Coming from Hongkong, he is actually bound to Taiwan, but he decided to  pass by the Philippines so he can go back and  scuba dive and swim with whale sharks in Donsol, drink beer with Manila TBs, and disturbed my travel itinerary! lol! I have to make changes in my travel plans because he convinced me that I can just snorkel without scuba diving and be able to swim with and maybe touch and stay close with those huge, friendly whale sharks in Donsol. That sounded fantastic and wonderful and I swore to go to Donsol within the nearest possible immediate travel opportunity. Phil is in Donsol as of this writing, diving and playing with those human-friendly,  plankton-feeding ,huge whales called by locals as the 'butanding'. Watch  out for Phil's blog that's coming out later. Here are some pics of Phil(Deats), Josh(The_bloodsucker), Jay(JeAr), and me while swimming with beer. :)

You shouldn't supposedly touch the sharks, but all the guides do! They even took Julias hand last time and stroked it for her! Same with the tarsiers, you shouldn't touch them but every Filipino TB seems to have pictures holding them! Its kind of at your own discretion. Cool photos by the way :))))
