Reflection of the tall office buildings in the moat! Tokyo, Japan
Day 6:
Again, got a good nights sleep, went to the super large electronics store a block away (yodobashi-akiba) and bought a tripod to get better pictures of Tokyo at night from the Tokyo City View in Rippongi went to a late lunch in Tokyo Station (several of these subway stations are like shopping malls, with many different restaurants and stores/shops!). So we spent a few hours roaming around tokyo station and exploring and such, explored the metropolitan area that surrounds it, and then walked to the imperial palace, which we found out was unfortunately closed...
It's really crazy because you're walking down the street in a business/downtown district, with tall office buildings on either side, and then all of a sudden, across the street is a giant moat with the palace in the middle of the city, it's truly amazing.

So then we walked around the Tokyo station area and I found a very cool little park with interesting water fountains, spent some time there... Then went back to Rippongi and to the Tokyo City View to take more shots with my dSLR and new tripod. I liked it so much the night before, I had to go back with my professional camera, although I don't think the shots from night 2 came out much better than night 1 with my point-and-shoot. Spent about 2 hours there, alex went to rippongi crossing again while i shot away(if I had the time, I would have also liked to go through the Rippongi Crossing museum once more, there was just too much to be seen and taken in, in one visit). Eventually we got tired, went to the hotel, slept.
