The roadtrip begins

Ok, I'm totally just kidding about not remembering the weekend. I had the most tame weekend in Vegas in my whole history of going there. Seriously, back in my younger, single years... well, I don't recall much.
So off I went. I got a late start on my drive. I didn't pack until that morning, had to go to my sons award program, pack some snacks and head out. I text Tracy to let her know I was about 30 minutes behind. She was a good 45 mins from me with no traffic and driving 70 mph. Good, I have some time to speak to Erik.
I was fairly close to the exit when I finished my call with Erik. Feeling amped up, I put Me First and the Gimme Gimme's in my CD player and blast it! I was screaming the songs and possibly swerving at times when I shook my head front to back. Opps, time to exit, ok, pay attention. I call Tracy and let her know I'm around the corner. After hanging up, I look at my text to text Erik and realize the one I sent Tracy about being late didn't go through! UGH... crap, she must have been like, where the crap!!
I get lost for about 5 minutes because they closed off the road to Tracy's house... hmmm... minor detour! Can handle, no worries. I get to Tracy's, make a bathroom break and away we go!!! Vegas baby Vegas!!
