The conclusion of our trip with Mike and Abby.

Austria to Ulm

Market
The final 2 days of our trip were spent in Ulm, Germany.  Mike and Abby wanted to see where Tom was living and working.  We walked along the Danube River and walked a top the city wall that was demolished by Napoleon back in the day.  We went to the traditional Saturday market that surrounds the Munster.  We hiked the 700+ stairs to the top of the Munster, which gave us a beautiful view of Ulm.  We visited Tom’s school and walked through old town.  Mike and Abby were able to sample traditional Swabian foods including the huge crepes and Kasespitzle (its like a heavy macaroni and cheese).  It was a nice ending to a wonderful holiday.

Mike and Abby left Sunday morning after a breakfast.  It was really hard to say good-bye but like every holiday, it must end at some point.

Thanks to Mike and Abby for a great vacation!
