Cozy Colonial hostel in Cusco
This hotel in Cusco is a beautiful colonial-era mansion - converted of course. Each room is furnished with private bathrooms. Our three-bed room had a loft! The beds here seemed older, or perhaps just a different style of mattress, because we were all finally comfortable! :) The architecture of the mansion was gorgeous. The walls are covered in wonderful artwork, mirrors, and statues.
The main reason we chose this hotel is that we specifically needed a hotel that accepted credit cards! Many of the hostels we stayed at only accepted cash. By the end of our trip, we needed to use the plastic. Funny enough, when we went to USE our credit card, the front desk clerk didn't know how to do it. And so the transaction ended up taking about 20 minutes as we waited for another worker to show up.
Overall it was a very pleasant stay and I highly recommend this quaint hotel.
