New Hostel in A.C.
Royal Inti Inn - Machupicchu Hotel
We were told this "hostel" had only been open for a month. I think they were remodeling. [By now they are probably done!] Our room had a paper number on the door, and no curtain for the shower, so the bathroom got soaked with each use.
Also, I thought their beds were the most uncomfortable of all the beds I experienced. Zero bounce or give or softness whatsoever. *shrug* Luckily, we did not spend much time in this hotel, since we were only MOMENTS from Machu Picchu!! :-D
It was nice they allowed luggage storage, which we took advange of on the day we left, so we could experience the BaƱos Thermomedicinales.
They also have a nice-looking restaurant on the main level, but we did not eat there.
One nice thing, which I believe was set up by our Tour Operator Augusta, is there were two people waiting to guide us to the hostel at the train station.
