elevation

is a restaurant in tahoe. it's not very good. and way too pricey.
it looks like it would be good, the menu sounds awesome, but they just couldn't do it.

i got hummus and vegetable chips. the veg chips were yummy, but the hummus had the consistancy of... uh... i can't think of anything. it was really really thick, and not good at all. hummus should be more creamy. and more delicious. i had also ordered baked brie with mushrooms in it. yeah, it kind of tasted like brie. a little bit. i guess.

i'm not a restaurant/food expert, but i really just did not like this place. i lvoe eating and food and trying new things, it's not that's i'm picky either. and i love brie and hummus so i was pretty excited to try them at this restaurant. the friend who i was with had a steak dish (i can't remember what) and she didn't like it much either, and she's the travel/food expert. (ok not expert, but she does it way more than me)

maybe someone else would like it a bit better.
