Day 2

The second day was just filled with lounging and the opportunity to swim. I was the only one on the entire boat who decided to jump in, and made it an exercise. I swam to the nearest island and paced the beach for a while. I noticed a jellyfish the size of beachball, so that made the swim back a bit more exciting, and I guess upped the pace as well.
Overall, the visit to Ha Long Bay is definitly worth it. It is amazing to see in person and I highly recommend it. The sheer volume of limestone and its contrast with the waters make it beautiful and something everyone should see. Vote for it at the new7wonders.com.
