Ready to go...
Hello!!
I finally get the chance to sit down for a couple of hours and write some notes about my trip. So far It’s been pretty full on, lots of sight seeing, strange meals and sore feet, but every time I sit on my bunk bed to write about it, someone new pops in and we start chatting for ages. Backpacking is great!! You really do meet a range of cool people… and some not so cool!
Ok, lets start from the beginning…
Clearing my flat was very satisfying, I discovered lots of things I forgot I had, so they went straight in the bin! When I was done I was left with my big backpack and a small rucksack, I remember thinking ‘that’s got to do me for the next 300 day!’ I tell you, It’s a weird feeling, but the worst feeling is when you actually leave the house with the backpacks and you constantly wonder if you have left anything behind!
Bit late to worry now…
One thing I certainly didn't leave behind is Dave's useful towel, I will make good use of it and I shall try my best not to wipe my bum on the white part! Cheers Dave!!
