At least SOME beach time...

Since I live in Las Vegas, I see plenty of sand but not enough ocean to make all that sand a beach. I had never been to Mission Beach before and at that point I didn't really care what beach it was as long as it was some sort of a beach. Since it was earlier in the day and the beginning of August there was a good amount of people on the beach and doing other activities in the area. I was happy to take off my sandals and put my feet in the water. The sounds of the waves and people instantly put me in a relaxed mode. I love the beach!

We could've walked around some more but we got hungry and decided to go to the Gas Lamp District for dinner.
