I get this question a lot "So, you don't have kids. What DO you do on your snow days?" A "snow day" is when the weather is so bad they can't get school busses through and the district gets a day off (that we'll need to make up later, usually). Here's what I do on a snow day.

I got out of Dodge for a couple hours.

Working hard to remove the large piles of snow from Tiffin's streets.

After only 3 days, I can see how people used to get "cabin fever".  I was so excited to be heading north to Tiffin, not just to eat lunch with Dad, but to simply be GOING somewhere.

Dad and I ate at Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken.  Usually we frequent the little local sports bar/grill places, so this was a bit different.  However, it was GOOOOD. (Full review in my "eating my way around Tiffin Ohio" blog.)

After leaving Lee's, we stopped in at one of my favorite kitchen stores in the world, Ralph's Joy of Living.  A kitchen scale I've had my eye on for a bit was on the clearance rack and is now on my kitchen counter.  I discovered that the place I like to get my oil changed has opened back up, and the river running through downtown was beautiful.  It looks like the town recovered pretty well from the flooding.  I like Tiffin.  It's not a hotbed of activity, but I never find myself bored when I'm there!
